Issued in 1898 and valid through 1914, this 2 cent red Coiling Dragon stamp was printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd for the Chinese Imperial Post. Bearing a vivid red color, the stamp features the traditional dragon motif, engraved printing, and the upright yin-yang watermark. The format is 23 x 26 mm with variable perforation.
