The 8 cent stamp from the 1913 Junk series is printed in a bold red-orange and presents a finely engraved image of a sailing junk—representing maritime commerce and progress. Issued without watermark, ungummed, and perforated 14, the stamp was designed by R. A. deVillard and produced by Waterlow & Sons Ltd. A clean black cancel enhances the composition. The reverse is lightly hinged. Catalogued as Michel CN-IM 155 I, Scott CN-IM 209, Yvert et Tellier CN-IM 152, Stanley Gibbons CN-IM 275, and China Stamp Society CN-IM 247. Estimate "$10 – 15"
