This mint never hinged trio from the French India series "Brahma and Kali Temple" (1914–1922) features an imposing central figure inspired by Brahma seated on a swan, flanked by elaborate columns and radiating light. Issued by the Imperial Printing Office in Paris, these stamps are printed via typography on gummed paper with 13½ x 12 perforation, and measure approximately 24.5 x 40.5 mm. The values represented here—1, 2, and 3 centimes—were part of the definitive series used across the French colonial establishments in India, showcasing Franco-Indian religious iconography. The trio includes a deep brown and black 1c, a carmine and gray 2c, and a sienna brown and gray 3c, all with crisp detail and strong colour preservation. Their cultural resonance lies in the fusion of French colonial identity with Indian religious aesthetics, serving both as postal tools and visual diplomacy. Estimate "$50 – 70".
